In the field of dental functional morphology, the main research subject is the head and neck,

Our research topics are;

1. Tooth loss and Alzheimer's disease

2. The molecular mechanism of tooth development

3. Neural circuit for pain sensation

4. Biocompatibility of biomaterials

We are conducting research on the subject. The main subjects of research are osteoblasts, and jaw bone organ cultures for culture, and the trigeminal nerve, thalamus, and cerebral cortex for tissues.
